[BETA] MultiRope v1 - Quick Hanging Rope Tool!

Currently only works with blender 4.1

Add hanging cables, ropes and even string lights with ease!

• Custom light ( Ensure your light object has it's origin set to the hanging part. )
• Grouping System ( Select a group and begin adding lights/modifying lights ) !!! This uses the name of the modifier 'soft1', so please don't modify the naming for the modifiers, thank you !!!

• Control the weight, resolution ( Cuts ) and thickness.
• Apply/Apply Group ( Apply the rope and lights with a click, it will turn them into a mesh and add the objects together, the lights will be one object and the rope will be another. )

• Delete Group ( Removes all of the ropes/lights in that active group )
• Anchor ( This just adds empty points that allow you to control the ropes position, great for wrapping the rope around objects )

You can:

• Modify the code
• Use the addon to create rope for both commercial and personal

You can't:

• Share the addon with anyone or claim it as your own

Warning! When making the rope less that 0.0010 Thick it may begin to lag blender ( This is due to small geometry size and a dense mesh being used in a simulation ) Hoping to fix this!
